Cancellation Policy

Summer is coming, kids are out of school and vacations are starting.   Understandably cancellations are going to happen.   In order to effectively run our business and ensure our employees have stable working hours, we are instituting a cancellation policy. 
We care about you and your family and understand emergencies arise that may result in you needing to cancel your upcoming service. Please contact us immediately and we will reschedule you at no charge.

 

  • If a cleaning appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of one half the cost of the scheduled cleaning will be charged.
  • If the cleaner is unable to enter the house, a cancellation fee of one half the cost of the scheduled cleaning will be charged
  • If a 1x cleaning and/or project is scheduled and cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of one half the cost of the scheduled project will be charged.
  • If a cleaning is rescheduled by the client less than 48 hours in advance, rather than cancelled, a fee of $25.00 will be charged.

I have worked in business for over 20 years, bringing integrity, process improvement and the financial understanding to ensure we offer a service that delights and exceed expectations at a fair price. 

In the same spirit, I employ cleaning specialists that reflect the same integrity and enthusiasm toward honest and hard work.   Each employee goes through a thorough screening and on-going training and review program.  Employee incentives are based on feedback from the customer.   It’s not how fast they work but the quality of work and superior customer service provided.

Partnership Cleaning” is a term Busy Girl “coined” and is often referred to during our weekly staff meetings.   We take the time to really understand your home and specific needs.  We create a Customer Bio for every customer that contains specific details on how to clean your home,  your cleaning “quirks”,  customized requests, as well as a list of feedback sought on a regular basis.

We don’t just work off of a standard cleaning checklist (although we do have one!).  If we see something in need of cleaning that is not so standard – you can bet we will tackle the project.   That’s Partnership Cleaning!

We ask for feedback on your cleaning (a lot).   Our customer service and near-obsessive desire to please, ensures consistent and high quality cleaning.   We offer plenty of ways to provide feedback:  cleaning feedback form, text, phone call, and/or our follow up calls.   Everyone has their own idea of what clean means to them, and this is why communication is so important.

We will customize your cleaning services. We take care of all your cleaning needs: whether a deep clean, regular maintenance or organizing your home.  Let us know what your custom cleaning needs are and we will do our best to do it all.

Do you hire contractors?

Busy girl cleaning and home projects never hires independent contractors and we carry liability insurance that protects you if an accident or injury happens on your property.

What is Busy Girls Guarantee? 

Is 100% ok? If something was missed and/or you are not satisfied with our service, notify us within 24 hours of the cleaning and we will send the team back at our expense to correct the problem. 

Do we have references?

Absolutely, we have testimonials from our valued clients and we have references available upon request. 

Busy Girl is licensed, insured and bonded? 

Yes X3! Hiring an unlicensed individual makes the ‘client’ technically and legally an employer with all the tax, legal, and liability issues that come with it. 

Only licensed companies may carry industrial, liability, labor and industries, and bonding insurance protection. (Thought a business license doesn’t guarantee that the company carries all of these protections).

No one likes it when accidents happen, but they still do. You can relax because you are covered when you use Busy Girl Cleaning. 

What happens if something happens in my home and something is damaged or broken?

In the event, something gets damaged or broken while we’re cleaning your home or business, we will immediately look into whether such was caused by our company and/or due to negligence. If we are responsible, we will replace the damaged item or reimburse you with our services. Depending on the situation, we will consider everything on a case-by-case basis. Your satisfaction is always our company’s priority. We promise to treat your home or business as if it were our own.

Is there anything we cannot clean? 

Due to the risks to our employees’ health we do not clean out cat boxes and/or animal feces. Blood, vomit, and anything else along these lines (either of human or animal origin) needs to be cleaned through a bio-hazard cleaning service. 

We clean everything that can be easily reached with a step stool.

Does Busy Girl require Cleaning Contracts?

 Never. We’re happy to earn your business each time we clean.

Does Busy Girl Provide the Cleaning Supplies? 

Yes we do. We arrive with all cleaning supplies and equipment necessary to make your home or office shine. If you’d like us to use your cleaning equipment or any special cleaning supplies, just let us know.

Many of our products are earth friendly and/or either unscented or low scented.

Do I Have to be Home when you Clean? 

Not at all. In fact, many clients prefer to give us a key so we can clean when they are away.

What Days does Busy Girl Work? 

We are available Monday thru Friday and by special appointment over the weekend.  We try to be as flexible as we can. Cleaning services are available for either one-time, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly appointments. 

Can I Trust the Maids? 

Absolutely! If we would not trust someone to clean our home, we’re not going to send them to clean yours. Our employees have all been background checked.  

Are Employees Bonded?

 Yes. employees are bonded for your protection. This bond protects and compensates you and your belongings in an employee is guilty of theft.

Are Busy Girl Employees Insured? 

Yes, Busy Girl carries liability insurance. Liability insurance protects you and will cover damage to your home or property caused by a Busy Girl employee accident.

Will I Get the Same Cleaning Specialist for each Cleaning? 

Yes.  You will have one or two cleaning specialist cleaning your homes on a regular basis. We like to send the same cleaners because they are familiar with your needs, your home, and your pets. Just let us know your preference. 

How Does Busy Girl Estimate your House/Office Cleaning? 

We price based on project/home versus hourly. This allows a fixed rate for the customer, every time. We have found that this reduces the frustration of inconsistent pricing and/or unexpected fees. 

We are very competitive within the industry. We aren’t as low as some because we compensate competitively, pay taxes, insurance, bonding, and offer value add services. However, we aren’t the most expensive either, as we believe in providing honest and quality services at a fair price. And lastly, we have always been able to make the budget work by providing customized cleaning options. 

Can I Leave a Note for the Team? Yes, please do so!

It’s a good idea to communicate either to the office or the house cleaners if you want special attention to an area, or if you are pleased with the job or have concerns.

We contact all of our clients after their initial cleaning to ask for feedback.   Our employees strive to provide excellent service, but we are human and misunderstandings happen occasionally.

Every client has different wants, needs, and expectations, so the more communication the better.    We welcome the opportunity to improve our service to you.

How Do I Make my Payment?

  • Payment is due at time of service
  • Or we can setup recurring payments with your credit card
  • We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, & American Express (for a 3% processing fee)

 

What if Something was Broken? We treat your home or business with as much care as if it was our own, and of course we carry insurance if there is an unfortunate mishap. If you have any irreplaceable or high value items in your home, please put them up and out of the way and notify the office or your cleaning specialist so we do not risk damaging them.


What if I Forget Busy Girl is Coming to Clean?    As an option, we can call or text you the day before the scheduled cleaning, as a reminder.  Otherwise, Please refer to our cancellation policy

How do I get Ready for my House Cleaning? Provide us with your pet instructions, keys, alarms or any other specific instructions about your household.

It’s fine to leave the cleaners a list, or you can email/text us with any issue. We are happy to address specific items room by room. You can put your list out every time we come, especially if your needs or priorities change week to week.

clutter is the #1 thing that slows us down. Our cleaning specialists are ready to work right when we arrive. We really want to start on the dirty work, but first we have to pick up all the magazines, the kid’s toys and bobby pins on the bathroom floor, cups and glasses, dirty dishes, clothing and shoes strewn all over that needs to be picked up and put away, before we can even start to clean.

What Time will you Arrive? We can place reminder calls the day before your scheduled house or office cleaning. An estimated time of arrival (ETA) will be provided at that time. The ETA will be as accurate as we can possibly make it (e.g. 11ish).

The clients scheduled before you, as well as traffic may sometimes impact the accuracy of our arrival time.

We make every attempt to arrive very close to our scheduled time, but some things are out of our control.

If you have a critical timing issue, please let us know, and we will do our best to try to accommodate it.
